Quick Features

Description

An Aretas Carbon Monoxide monitor continuously monitors the levels of carbon monoxide in the immediate area and sends a reading to the Edge device or Cloud system at a configurable interval (typically 2 minutes). Aretas Carbon Monoxide monitors are all calibrated, bump tested and double checked prior to shipping.

Remote Carbon Monoxide Monitoring

You can monitor Carbon Monoxide (CO) from anywhere in the world. Login to your Edge device or Cloud account wherever you are and see the current carbon monoxide levels as well as all the historical data.

Applications

Transportation Companies

Loading bays and anywhere there are vehicle traffic and idling engines can have dramatically higher levels of Carbon Monoxide. Continuous monitoring will help you see if levels are acceptable

Industrial Facilities

Combustion sources, idling vehicles, transportation trucks and vehicle traffic can increase indoor levels of Carbon Monoxide dramatically. Idling vehicles parked by air intakes can cause Carbon Monoxide gas to be sucked into the building

Commercial Kitchens / Restaurants

Malfunctioning kitchen vents can cause Carbon Monoxide to build up inside the kitchen area. Open grills and other sources of combustion increase the possibility of a CO event.

Parking Garages

Idling vehicles and heating systems can emit high levels of Carbon Monoxide in parking garages and parkades. Adding continuous, high precision monitoring allows you to see the levels continuously and manage air quality better

Businesses

Is your business adjacent to a busy roadway? Aretas customers have shown that businesses close to busy intersections or roadways can have elevated levels of carbon monoxide indoors

Residential Homes

Idling vehicles in garages can be a significant source of Carbon Monoxide in the home. Other sources include: fireplaces, furnaces, gas stoves, cigarette smoking and more.

Construction Sites

Large machinery, transport vehicles, gas powered tools, forklifts and heating equipment can all emit high levels of Carbon Monoxide on a construction site. Continuous monitoring will allow you to locate and mitigate sources of CO.

Software Options

Aretas Sensor Edge is the latest version of the Aretas Sensor Software. You can run Sensor Edge on a local IoT Gateway Device or in the Cloud. Cloud options require WiFI wireless OR an Edge Device (starting at $99 USD)

The workhorse of the Aretas Cloud platform, Aretas Cloud V1 supports all the sensors in the Aretas lineup except thermal, light spectrum and sound spectrum.

You can run IoT Gateway v1 with Aretas Cloud V1 or on its own (using the built-in reporting and data storage).

The Aretas Sensor Grapher is a local charting utility that requires an XBee USB adapter and a PC with Java installed.
