Installing Aretas v1 IoT Gateway on Ubuntu

The Aretas v1 IoT Gateway software runs on Ubuntu LTS versions 14 and 16 on ARM and x64 architectures. All you need is to have the operating system installed and a compatible serial device installed and accessible (i.e. /dev/ttyUSB)

To install the v1 IoT Gateway software, login to the Ubuntu console and run the following commands:

sudo add-apt-repository -s ppa:aretas-ca/dev -y
sudo apt-get update -y
sudo apt-get install aretas-bridge -y

Edit bridge.ini file as necessary.

systemctl enable aretas-bridge
systemctl start aretas-bridge
